Hit the Spot
"Looking for everything, wanting to know everything, wanting to have everything."
Overview
A warm, friendly, considerate person, Hee Jae is surrounded by people who claim to know and love her. The problem for Hee Jae is that she isn’t really sure if she really understands herself. On the other hand, Mi Na is Hee Jae's confident and energetic best friend and colleague at Play Books, a supplier of books and related products centered around sex and romance. While an expert in how to achieve physical pleasure, her understanding falls short on romantic relationships. When they find themselves told to take over hosting a sex and romance advice podcast, the two feel more than a little lost...
What critics are saying
Critical reception for Hit the Spot highlights its refreshing, mature, and female-centered approach to topics of sex, intimacy, and romance. Viewers commended the series for offering open and mature discussions surrounding female sexual empowerment, praising how it tackles topics that are rarely addressed candidly in traditional Korean dramas.
While reviewers appreciated the strong performances and realistic, responsible portrayals of relationships between the lead characters, some noted that the show might not appeal to every audience or felt it slightly missed exploring broader sexual experiences. Overall, the drama is regarded as an entertaining, empowering, and engaging short watch.

Fanta G Spot arrives as a drama that treats intimate expression as a subject worth serious, if occasionally awkward, conversation. The show navigates the tension between physical expertise and emotional clarity. While Mi Na treats sexual satisfaction as a technical mastery, her character development hinges on the realization that romantic connections often elude the same level of control.
Hee Jae moves through the narrative as a counterpoint, representing the internal struggle to define personal desire amidst a life lived for others. The series keeps these dynamics focused on the workplace environment of a publishing company where the professional output is sex education. By casting the podcast as a pressure point for the leads, the script avoids easy answers about compatibility or hormonal influence. Park Sun-ho is among those grounding these relationships in a recognizable social reality where the pursuit of pleasure remains messy.
