Overview
Maíra was raised by her father believing that her mother had died. This was a lie her father told her in order to protect her from the scorn of her mother, who rejected her when she learned that her daughter was born with a disability. Many years later, Maíra comes across a stranger on their doorstep. That’s Zoé, her mother. Without revealing her true intentions, Zoe reappears asking her daughter’s forgiveness for having abandoned her. As in a dream that turns into a nightmare, Maíra experiences the strongest emotions of her life and what would be a happy fresh start for Maíra with her family turns into a long and dangerous journey.
All the Flowers pulls from the frantic energy of traditional soap operas to anchor a darker narrative. The series centers on the collision between the high-stakes worlds of perfumery and elite fashion and the grim reality of criminal networks involving human trafficking. It moves past the typical melodrama of long-lost family reunions by introducing a predatory dynamic where a mother exploits her own child, turning the comfort of domestic discovery into a calculated trap.
The aesthetic contrast defines the viewing experience. Bright, polished runways and the sensory focus of the perfume industry mask the systemic cruelty happening in the shadows. Letícia Colin anchors the shifting tone as the narrative pivots from professional rivalry to the consequences of hidden secrets. By grounding these emotional extremes in a visually elegant setting, the show creates a sense of constant unease that persists even when the protagonists seem to find stability. Rather than relying on simple character archetypes, the writing prioritizes how ambition and desperation distort the bonds between parent and child.
