Graveyard

Premiering in 2022, *Graveyard* approaches the crime drama format with a sharp, uncompromising focus. The series follows a dedicated police unit tasked with cracking tough cases, zeroing in specifically on violence against women and the murders tied to those offenses. Front and center is Police Commissioner Önem, brought to the screen by Birce Akalay, who anchors the narrative as she guides her team through inquiries where the stakes are inherently personal and grim.

Viewers are drawn to the mystery because it resists easy, breezy resolutions. Instead of turning murder into light entertainment, the storytelling leans into the friction and emotional weight of specialized police work. The drama comes from watching investigators confront brutal realities head-on, balancing methodical case-breaking with the sheer difficulty of seeing justice through to the end.
