Overview
Eun Gye-hoon, a famous chef, opens a restaurant in a town he lived when he was a little kid. In the past, he had a twin sister. But after a traumatic incident tat the hometown, the family lost her. He used to have a strong emotional link to his sister, able to synchronize with any kinds of feelings she was having. When Noh Da-hyun, a young woman in need of help, visits him one day, Gye-hoon starts to feel that strong link again.
Link: Eat, Love, Kill blends cooking with a strange, involuntary psychic ache. The drama centers on the unsettling return of a sensory connection between a professional chef and a stranger he meets in his childhood hometown. This isn't a standard romance because the intimacy is forced by this supernatural tether rather than typical growing affection. The internal conflict relies on the protagonist, played by Yeo Jin-goo, navigating a professional life while being blindsided by emotions that do not belong to him.
The mystery roots itself in the trauma of a missing twin. While the show explores a possible love story, the tension stems from the history of the town and how the past refuses to stay buried. It balances the precision of a controlled kitchen with the instability of sudden, shared feelings. The show asks how much of a person is truly their own when they can literally feel the fear and joy of someone else.
